Police Chief Sharon O'Neil maintained a journal throughout her life. The events that we find most interesting are those when she first arrived in our small town of Briar, Oregon. It's what happened in these subsequent years that have left us all reeling and somehow, perhaps through these entries, we may start to understand what happened, or more importantly what she was thinking.
We will not edit, against her lawyer's wishes, anything from her journal and the fight in court continues over it while we all await word of her condition.
The posts that follow are directly related to the forthcoming novel, 'Teasing Lions,' and are strictly fictional. Any resemblance of characters to people, real or imagined, is strictly incidental and unintentional.
